We're going to make online lessons about your camera, film, developing and the darkroom. First we make sure the lab and the shop are running well. After that, the lessons go online.

Loading film, focusing and choosing the right exposure. The basics for a roll that's worth developing.
Choosing the right film
Colour or black and white, ISO 200 or 400. Which film suits the light and what you want to shoot.
Developing it yourself
Developing your own black and white film. Which chemicals you need, how long each step takes and where things often go wrong.
Working in the darkroom
From negative to print on paper. How to use an enlarger and build up a print step by step.
Free, or after a workshop
Some of the lessons will be free, for anyone who wants to get started.
Other lessons go with our workshops. If you take a workshop with us, you unlock the lessons that go with it. That way you can keep going at home with what you learned here.
Why it's taking a while
There are two of us, and right now we're building the lab and the shop first. Making good lessons takes time, and we'll put that time in once the basics are in place.
